Qualifications

Louisa completed her Honours for the Bachelor of Archaeology at La Trobe University in 2013. During the course of her degree, she was particularly interested in the practice and theory of Australian Indigenous archaeology and specialised in stone artefact analysis and assemblage interpretation.

Currently, Louisa is undertaking the Masters of Geographic Information Technology at the University of Melbourne. The MGIT training will ensure she is across the latest in GIS theory and methodology that are crucial to the preparation of the high-quality spatial products for which Andrew Long + Associates are known.

Description

Since joining Andrew Long + Associates in 2010, Louisa has seen her role develop in a strong professional direction. Starting off in an archaeological assistant role, Louisa's has been supported in training and gaining experience in multiple departments and across the many stages of various projects giving her a broad understanding of the cultural heritage field.

More recently, Louisa has been focusing on stone artefact analysis and GIS tasks. Louisa has worked as a member of our GIS department for 3.5 years andis well placed continue to contribute to excellent project outcomes through the use of GIS.
