Qualifications

Penelope completed her Masters of Archaeological Science with the Australian National University in 2013. She has had extensive experience working within cultural heritage legislative frameworks, in report writing, archaeological surveying, complex subsurface testing, site identification and recording and salvage excavations.

Description

Penelope began working with Andrew Long + Associates in 2014 and is one of our highly valued up and coming archaeologists on the project team. 

Penelope has conducted due diligence assessments, cultural heritage management plans and cost estimates for a broad range of projects. She has experience in communication and consultation with regulatory bodies, developers and traditional owner groups to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal cultural heritage.

Penelope maintains a number of important professional affiliations including:

• Australian Archaeological Association (AAA)
• Archaeological and Anthropological Society of Victoria (AASV)

Penelope is a registered cultural heritage advisor under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic).
