Fiona joined the Andrew Long + Associates team of assistant archaeologists in 2021. Her leadership and management skills have seen her quickly become a key coordinator of our graduate/assistant archaeologists who are a vital part of all our heritage projects.

Description

Fiona is a capable and dedicated cultural heritage professional with an academic background and extensive professional experience within the museum space, arts administration, editing, and education. Fiona takes a sensitive and comprehensive approach to cultural heritage within the community and is interested in the ethics of handling culturally significant objects and their trajectory through time. She is following this professional interest in her current thesis on the repatriation of culturally significant Indigenous pieces from colonial collections in France.

Fiona is an Associate Member of The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS)
