Phil completed his Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University in 2010 and his Master of Archaeological Science at The Australian National University in 2014. He joined Andrew Long + Associates in 2021 as a Senior Project Manager. Since then, he has been working on a variety of private, government and industrial projects, most notably regarding various rail and level crossing removal projects. He has become an important member of our cultural heritage team.
Description
Phil is a registered Heritage Advisor and Archaeologist with over eight years’ experience working throughout Australia within Aboriginal cultural heritage legislative frameworks. He specialises in consultation with a diverse array of stakeholders, Traditional Owner groups and Registered Aboriginal Parties with a focus on integrating the cultural needs of projects within the scope of development for clients.
Phil utilises Palaeolithic landscape reconstruction, geomorphology and technical skills within his projects to help inform and direct the cultural heritage process. Through his experience he has authored and co-authored a variety Cultural Heritage Management Plans, Due Diligence Advice, Amendments and Salvages requiring bespoke cultural heritage conditions management and project specific assistance.
