Vaia has had extensive fieldwork experience both nationally and internationally. She has managed numerous complex and diverse field projects, ensuring their delivery and successful completion for large government clientele. Vaia has developed strong relationships with a variety of traditional owner groups throughout Victoria.

Description

At Andrew Long + Associates Vaia has come on board into the new role of Operations and Project Manager. With her experience in conducting cultural heritage assessments, cultural heritage management plans, and historical reports for a broad range of projects she brings valuable planning skills to our team. Throughout her professional career, she has formed positive relationships with regulatory bodies including Aboriginal Victoria and Heritage Victoria, developers and Traditional Owner groups to achieve best practice outcomes in the field.

Vaia is a listed cultural heritage advisor under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic), and a member of the Australian Archaeological Association.
