Paul completed his honours in archaeology at Latrobe University in 2012. His subsequent professional experience in both museum and consulting contexts has seen his skills in strategic collection management and historical archaeology develop to a high level. Paul has been responsible for state collection rehabilitations, and large scale cataloguing projects, through which he has gained skills in artefact analysis and developing methodological frameworks.
Since joining Andrew Long + Associates in 2014 Paul has become integral in the preparation of historical reports and artefact analyses. His specialist skills include cataloguing, the analysis and the interpretation of historical artefact assemblages and field programs. He has a broad range of experience working within government institutions and private consultancies which allows him to make valuable contributions to projects.
Paul brings to the team innovative strategies and procedures that improve and standardise the appropriate management of archaeological collections, their recording and storage.
Paul is a registered cultural heritage advisor under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic).
